Returns and Refunds

RETURNS and REFUNDS

We take special care to ensure that each order you receive from us will be delightful. We have put in place this policy to accommodate the conditions of online ordering. Online orders have a 5 day return window from the time your order is delivered to you. You must contact us and receive a return authorization before attempting to return an item. See Our Terms and Conditions page for details about how to return an item.

The returned item must arrive unworn, in original condition, accompanied by the original packaging, tags and receipt. Donna Weaver Designs will not accept any return if the piece shows signs of wear, has been used, or altered from its original condition in any way. We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the item received is determined to be damaged or unsaleable. If all stated requirements are met, you will receive a full refund to the credit card with which the purchase was made minus a 5% restocking fee and minus the original shipping charges.

See Our Terms and Conditions page for important details about how to return an item.

Made-to-Order and Sale items are final sale. In person purchases are final sale.

ORDER CHANGES

In order to assure timely shipping of your piece, we promptly begin work upon receiving an order. If a change to an order is requested within 24 hours of purchase via concierge@donnaweaverdesign.com, we will consider accommodation at our discretion. Merchant fees will apply.

WARRANTY

Each piece of Donna Weaver Designs jewelry is designed, hand fabricated, and finished with great attention and care. We want you to love your piece as much as we do. Please contact us at concierge@donnaweaverdesign.com if you have any concerns.

We offer a lifetime warranty for any manufacturing defects. We do not warranty stone damage, breakage or loss, and suggest you insure your jewelry against loss, damage and theft.

Jewelry is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for earrings and rings since these pieces are regularly subjected to considerable abuse including handwashing, gardening, swimming, showering, sleeping or exercising in jewelry. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, active wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered. Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

  • Discoloration due to exposure to soaps, soil, chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing.
  • Damage due to swimming, showering, sleeping or exercising in jewelry.
  • Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and may require “building up” or restoration work as normal wear.
  • Bent, caught or worn out prongs(s) allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
  • Bent or broken earring posts or wires due to sleeping in jewelry.
  • Lost stone or a stone has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.
